On Reading

My holiday read is over. It was a good read – one of the best.

As I was reading it, I thought about it a lot – as we do with all good books. Now that it is done, there is a slight sense of loss. I guess when it is a good book, you never really want it to end.

I will flip through it again, read the bits that I’ve enjoyed, savour the moment and put it away. Maybe in time to come, I’d read it again just to see if I will change the way I feel about it. Then again, maybe not.
