Gobbledygook

She was making her rounds this morning. The topic I was teaching today was marriage / arranged marriages. I was perched on a desk, on a rant about marriage and bellowing, “You don’t need a husband to provide for you! You make your own money and buy your own diamonds!” The classroom reverberated with the sound of my voice and her heels clicking in the corridor.

I dig my own grave.

In a classroom not so far away, Klein was on a rant about a local poet and bellowing, “Homosexuality and anti-establishment!” The classroom reverberated with the sound of his voice and her heels clicking in the corridor.

We dig our own graves.

So much so for my Germaine Greer moment...
